Fahy90
So this is my new Mk 1 GT, I have always wanted a Mk 1 specifically. Finally after a near 3 month wait after buying it, she is here 😁 Bought through Patrick at JDM Auction Watch (top man to deal with). Completely standard car apart from the wheel's, recaro driver's seat and turbo timer. Just a couple of the original photo's from the auction (bought through yahoo auctions), the dock's over in Japan and finally photo's of it at the dock's in Dublin. It was dark when it arrived home yesterday so I will get some of my own photo's over the weekend. Delighted with it, very very clean car. A small scuff on the rear bumper that will be sorted soon. For now, she's away into the garage for the winter.

I want to get a standard mk1 driver's seat first and a parcel shelf as it is missing one, plus get the scuff on the back bumper sorted and the black insert's on the front bumper freshend up. After that some new wheel's and go from there. It will be a weekend/summer toy, won't be a daily.

No I wouldn't be gone on any of the kit's for it either, exterior wise it will be staying OEM apart from some wheels 😀

Charlie Thompson
Nice to see one that’s pretty much standard and in mint condition!
Fahy90
A couple of quick pic's from the weekend, didn't get a chance to give it a good cleaning yet. Going to do that this weekend before she goes into the garage for the winter.

Fahy90
Bit of an update, VRT'd the car in November 2021. NCT'd for 2 year's in January, passed first time no issues. Looking forward to getting it out over the summer properly now finally. Picked up a MK1 driver's seat, photo was taken before giving it a clean. Came up very well and no rips/burns etc. Also picked up a set of Enkei nt03's that I had fully refurbed a few weeks back. Managed to get a set of Blitz coilovers and an adjustable panhard rod of Conor Browne to, hoping to put them in next week. Edited June 1, 2022 by Fahy90
JamieG_GlanzaV
Lovely looking car mate, have you fitted the blitz coilovers yet? If you have what do you think of the ride? got blitz on my glanza and find them to be a bit harsh even on softest settings lol

I missed out on a couple also in that time, I was willing to buy the whole interior just for the seat so I really did get lucky! Literally! 🤣 Picked up a nice Nardi wheel a few weeks ago, something different to the usual Momo's. Also had the car out for a good spin this past weekend 😀
