Glanza-Love Posted June 19, 2009 Posted June 19, 2009 Well even though the toyota starlet is a Jap car..what do you guys think to a euro glanza... slammed with dish wheels & so on?? Quote
Sparky Posted June 19, 2009 Posted June 19, 2009 Its sacreligious but the pictures of the ones I have seen they look pretty sweet.Suits the n/a alot more IMOThe Euro scene is pretty big around my way and will probably go out of fashion quite quickly!! Quote
Galliano Posted June 19, 2009 Posted June 19, 2009 The N/A has "softer" styling, the Glanza is more badass... Buy a cheap N/A and make it a showcar? Quote
Steve GT Posted June 19, 2009 Posted June 19, 2009 euroing is all about smoothing everything etci much prefer shape and imo euroing takes all that away from thatid leave it the way it comes to be honest Quote
Glanza-Love Posted June 19, 2009 Author Posted June 19, 2009 hmmm you dont know much about euro then fella because its not all about smoothing?infact euro is more about the defined lines of the standard cars with subtle modds slammed on its arse & dished shiney rims Quote
Steve GT Posted June 19, 2009 Posted June 19, 2009 yeh i know that too. i like the slamming thing i had a few saxos n they were on their arses. i had the rear on the bump stops it was that low. just everything else i dont like. my mate paid over a grand for some expensive euro wheels and imo they just looked wank lolits a proper personal preference kinda thing i think Quote
Liam_D Posted June 19, 2009 Posted June 19, 2009 I have been thinking about 'euroing' my N/A for ages, but just dont think its right doing to a jap car. So i think i will leave it to the VW boys Quote
Nanglebadger Posted June 19, 2009 Posted June 19, 2009 put quite simply, i like the euro look, esp late mk golfs etc etc, i think it can look real classy.and some of the N/a ep91s euro styled that I've seen have been class!me likey!Phil. Quote
Bourkey Posted June 19, 2009 Posted June 19, 2009 I have to agree with Rubix here. It's all about smoothing. Even if it isn't practical aswell. It does look pretty good on the Starlet as the UK ones and the Glanzas are quite rounded. I'd personally never do it though as a jap car is a jap car and not a euro car.Bourkey Quote
Marck glanza V Posted June 20, 2009 Posted June 20, 2009 theres a black glanza in edinburgh with euro deep dish wheels and stretched tyres and imo looks quite good Quote
mel Posted June 20, 2009 Posted June 20, 2009 Euro looks ok on a ep91 makes the car look like its put weight on lol.I prefer jap styling best.I saw this at modified nationals Quote
Galliano Posted June 20, 2009 Posted June 20, 2009 Hope you left them a note saying "www.ukstarletclub.com" That doesn't look all that good, Like, its just looking heavy. Might look good slammed to the ground with some more rounded edge bumpers and deep dishes all round.. Quote
mel Posted June 20, 2009 Posted June 20, 2009 See mel thats not euro look....thats simply a Glanza on a set of Borbat A'sIt would need its handles and locks smoothed off, de-spoilered and MUCH lower and better offset wheels.disagree this has bin in fastcar mag. pic nothing smoothed off de spoilered. just all depends on how far you wont to go with your car Quote
ep91face Posted June 20, 2009 Posted June 20, 2009 now thats euro starlet done rite... its the reiger bodykit for the n/a apparently check out this topic bout half way down the page!click Quote
SpeedFreak Posted June 22, 2009 Posted June 22, 2009 Golf's always look cool with Euro look. But I haven't really seen EP's with that kinda look.It all depends on what wheels they have IMO. The Euro look depends alot of the type of wheels that are put on it. But I do love the Euro look. Quote
200sx-Starlet-Jay Posted June 25, 2009 Posted June 25, 2009 errrmmm... that corsa dunt look euro...and seriously not feeling the euro washed glanza and NA.... looks weird as. IMO Quote
Spoonz Posted June 25, 2009 Posted June 25, 2009 theres someone on tgtt i think with a euro style one looked quite sweet in the pics tbh Quote

Glanza-Love Posted June 26, 2009 Author Posted June 26, 2009 Ross "Euro" is about making the car as smooth and flowing as possible.....Its not about decking a standard looking car with mad offset wheels and a bonnet bra. You need to read up on it more.when i said defined lines moron.. i meant that it was smoothed to compliment the car not like smooth the door or boot handles off you pr*ck.. ie mk2 golfs the plastic arch kits would be removed and the lines behind it smoothed.. like this...to this...So dont tell me to read up on euro you clown... Glanza-Love Posted June 26, 2009 Author Posted June 26, 2009 sorry.. cant help it when folk foolishly think they know better. Quote
Nanglebadger Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 errrmmm... that corsa dunt look euro...gotta agree with that, dont look too 'euro' to me, but perhaps its just a particular version of euro that im unused to.to me, the brown saxo and the golfs above are euro.Phil. Quote
Nanglebadger Posted June 27, 2009 Posted June 27, 2009 im not sayin the corsa ISN'T euro, im far from an expert on the euro style, just sayin that from what I've seen of the euro scene whilst spending some time in germany and france myself and buyin some mags whilst there, its not what i would have expected to be classed as euro. it does however, have some FINE-ASS wheels!(plz note - Rubix, im not tryin to argue with u here at all, please dont think that I am!)Phil.
