Dyno-run With My N/a Starlet

Recommended Posts

^^And you should be pleased witht the result, who wouldnt be?

The reason I asked the question is because I want to know what mods are needed to reach 100bhp+ on a N/A as I want to achieve the same sort of figures.

Running a fuel pressure regulator will stop the car running lean bceause it increases the amount of fuel entering the mixture. But if your car is running fine without it (not lean) then i dont see the need for getting one.

my 2p.

Motion doesnt have his glanz s ecu fitted yet. He managed 100bhp with just glanza s injectors which are the same as 4afe corolla 1.6 and inlet manifold and exhaust manifold. So thats a standard European 4efe with corolla inlet, 4branch exhaust and bigger injectors making 100bhp. Well done mate I got lost in translation and thought you already had ecu in it.

here is the new dyno result:

now it runs to lean so i bought a greddy e-manage ultimate to adjust it.

and now i need help, i have the glanza s injectors mounted can somebody tell me how big they are? i only heard that they are slightly bigger, but how much???

you need to get the e-manage mapped?

standard 4efe injectors are 195cc. not sure about glanza S, dont think they are bigger than 225cc.

but i have also heard they are the same size but run higher fuel pressure.

go for glanza V injectors, they are 295cc, should be easily available and up for the job

good luck

glanza s injectors are the same as any other 3rd gen jdm 4efe and uk spec 4efe at 195cc

you should think about 225cc injectors from the 5efhe

is that 108ps at the wheels or the fly?

great figure mate ;)
