Generally we do 3 runs. The second usually makes the most power with turbo charged cars as the first run heats the exhaust side of the turbo which allows the gases to move quicker for the second run. By the third the engines are a little hotter and produce a little less. Its not an exact science though. If you only want one run we can just do the one if you require.

3 runs will be ok, just keep an eye on the water bottle as it was pushing a little out on the trackday, but on the road it's fine so 3 runs shouldn't be a problem.

I think you could do with a new rad cap mate couple of quid.

Runs are usually carried out in 3rd to be honest. Sometimes we use 4th on cars with 6 gears (we have an Audi RS4 we run in 4th) but mostly 3rd. We wont have any traction issues. Our Seat Leon Cupra demo car runs 353bhp through the front wheels which has had loads of runs on the dyno without traction issues.
