brewin Posted November 27, 2011 Author Share Posted November 27, 2011 not updated this in a while so here goes!my sx is off the road now till next year now so i decided to take some end of 2011 pics.....So! work starts again for 2012...home for the next 6 months!refurbed ARB in candy bluespare rear subframe back from the blastersuprated ARB linksgot some solid rear diff bushes (better for clutch kicking )driftworks rear subframe bushes subframe my subframe painted candy greengot a hot pipe bent for me at work, i welded it painted it & put my BOV on itpainted rear bumper section with the huge fog lights cut off more soon! Apparently its because the AFM is right by the filter. This obviously reads air intake by the filter which the car is expecting when it mixes it with the fuel. The BOV releases alot of this when your not on the gas so therefore screws the air flow reading. This in turn means more fuel is put in compared to air which causes the banging and stuff. I had the same when i bought the car so took it off. Best bet is just stick with the standard re-circ vavle mate if the same thing happens with this.
