well im wondering if mine got in there from my original engine and turbo failure? so if your loosing oil may still be worth cleaning the exhaust throught as there is probably oil in there

yeah ill still check it all while its off the car because it spits quite a bit across the car park lol. ill empty it though so once we have solved what we think is the problem the oil in the system will still be smoking so we might be doing more than we actually need to
