iamlegend Posted March 20, 2011 Author Share Posted March 20, 2011 cheers lads rare indeed and very lucky ahah!!ngk spark plugs fitted today as....well got the JAM ECU fitted today lovley plug and play ecu like takes 5 mins so let my car idle for 40 mins then turned it off! restarted 20 mins later, the idle went all lumpy and it kept cutting out since the revs were dropping that low so took it out for a spin and it was driving so smooth drove around nice and gentle then stopped again notiched idle was perfect again at 1000 revs so was pleased then took it for a proper spin and HOLLLYYYY FARRRKKK its amazing haha revs its tits off now and the power is just lovley its only boosting 0.6 atm but i want it to 1 bar right now, noticed when i turn the boost up on my gizzmo it seems it does not want to boost any more i think it may just be the way i am using the ebc or can this happen???? i just need 1 bar haha!want to get somthing done do it ya self HEHEalso noticed i heard this noise in the cabin and was thinking wtf is that i belive its my TD fuel pump its a wei bit loud LOL is that normal? string Posted March 20, 2011 Share Posted March 20, 2011 mate. td fuel pumps are menna be silent pretty much. there sales pitch to make people buy over the walbro is the no noise/little noise. also what ebc version u got. i'm running the gold. check the boost cut isn't set too low. iamlegend Posted March 24, 2011 Author Share Posted March 24, 2011 well the new EBC turned up so got right ahead with refitting it again with my matey! took it for a spin and started up the boost bit by bit went on a long drive and its working a treat! I am now running 1.1 bar and its A FUCKING MONSTER i swear down its so fast i am driving with a huge grin on my face the power band is amazing! holds boost perfect and the spool up time is awesome! so it has been well worth it so much hahah!it pops and bangs like a gun when on idle and give it a wei rev, going to get the fueling checked on it asap just to ease mind!acceleration is just incane! would love to take it on the drag now.... thing thats getting me is it doesnt wheel spin at all when am flooring it the JAM ECU has fully adjusted to it self now with my set up so all is minted, it scared me some times like ahahahah peace forgot to say the sound it is making of full boost is just wonderful! screamer/power getter/tdo4 turbo = heres a quick vid of the tonehttp://s287.photobucket.com/albums/ll124/a...nt=IMG_0530.mp4NOTE sounds so much better in the flesh i tell thi!the automatic gearbox is so strong not slipping once!
