how do they dyno an auto? how do they stop it from kicking down/changing too early?

If you put it in second and let it get to about 40 you should be able to plant your foot and get a reading without it kicking down.

Think thats what the guy did when i had mine done anyway.

My guess would be 218.5HP anyway :(

ok, well if they do it in 2nd it will be high. cause of the ratios.

there isnt a 1:1 gear on the auto box.

so im going with

219.6bhp

Well i think thats what the guy did for mine. Could be wrong tho haha

results!

max power:197 BHP

torque:234 BHP

boost was sweet

torque was sweet

fueling was also spot on

now then due to the automatic box it was struggling to get a EXACT reading!

now the jam is up for sale yes plans changed as i want a EMU since the autobox defeating the result only thing can do to tweek it to its best is piggy back mapping!

in no rush to change tbh as its only readings it drives like a animal so..... :(

you are actually LOL well done mars bar en route!

its the auto box it struggled on the dyno as the readings on the dyno are getting confused since its a auto! as its changing gears automatic.

yeah i questioned this also.

in other cars ive heard of them disconnecting the kickdown, but this aparently is eriously bad for the box.

you would have thought they could do some ECU trickery to keep it in one gear?

Autbox is defeating the result so in stead of putting a decent gearbox in your just gonna change the ECU? :(

read the top line of this quoted box again and tell me what you see there, you'll have a EMU all mapped up and go back for another go and then you'll just be complaining about it not reading exactly again :(
