whitestarlet
it depends wat you want mate the ep82 is quiet high on insurance since it is an import and 1.3 turbo while the SR is uk spec car !! both are very reliable if looked after !!
scutch0
yeah totally.the turbo is the obvious choice... but i like the look of the n/a ep91 sr... but only comes with a turbo if you get the glanza...its a tough one... but in the end i think you'd get the turbo.Rich. starletno1fan
Yeh depends on what your budget is and if you can afford both insurance and car for the turbo.i got a quote with elephant tptf 1 yrs no claims to be 1250 on an ep82 turbo. But my normal n/a ep91 was 1100 fully comp as my first car.Eric

shelly_star
and are you a first time driver? have you tried ringing up and getting some quotes, that will help you decide what to get. Turbo side you gotta think whether you can afford to run it as petrol side is not that economic, you should know what i mean... hehe.

gaz
where do you live?
shelly_star
expensive to run, but they are fun little cars with a small turbo. you test drive one yet? once you test drive one and put your foot down, you don't even have to think about whether to buy it or not, when i took the glanza out up the hill, i was amazed in the power it had.... so the deposit was down straight away.lol.Don't get me wrong, the SR is a nice everyday car to drive around in, the standard TTE springs are really comfortable, even though it's sat on my drive, won't be long till my brother will be driving it. starletgtt
The EP82 is a cracking little pocket rocket and can be reasonable to run if you dont run on high boost and dont rag it but then again thats half the fun.19 years old I imagine will be a sticking point with insurance as it is a group 13 -14and if you have not got any no claims or very little the insurance companies will hammer you.Try Liverpool and Victoria or performance Direct.Rob
gaz
dont go for obvious companys non of them would touch me.. had to go with a smaller one.
