uksc is my homepage and i browse it 2-10 times daily and lately it seems like starlets are suddenly the worst car in the world y so much negativity lately n all the topics atleast 2 a day are im thinking of selling up etc

i have spent well over 1k on just brakes mot and tyres , yes it skint me for 3 months but i still love my car i stil love kicking the ass of people hu have spent 8-9k on a newer car and its slow as poop

please guys these cars are awesome so much potential so nice looking and the attention for a car not many people know is good

hopefully this lil speach will make some of u rethink about selling look at amjads build nanglebadger sanchez etc all of them including me have up n downs and spent money upon money but thats what happens when your hobby is cars

if too many people keep leaving ill have to use tgtt more n i dont want that hahaha

my car is being a prick bitch for no reason and im fed up with it at the minute, and im fairly sure Jay is sick looking at it every weekend too.

but UKSC aint going anywhere. and even if it did become too much for me to tolerate i'd probably just SORN it rather than sell it.

i know what you mean lol all these threads about selling up etc there is a lot of them

the thing I've learned about this site though is 1 person sells up another 5 new members join. the site has grown a huge amount in the last few years its unreal. the starlets are more popular than ever. some people dont like this as they dont like the fact there getting too common and falling into the hands of chavs who are ruining them but the site deffo wont close down im pretty confident of that

as for me. well i bought my black GT and within 2 months the driveshafts collapsed, the clutch basically shattered then the engine blew. cost me a bomb but i got everything repaired put a new engine in then got it running perfect. it was an absolute warrior and scummed everything round my end. I loved it.

then some dick in a volvo who couldnt drive hit me and write the car off. i was devestated sold all my parts and decided i wanted an integra type r. luckily for me socks bought his glanza then let me drive it one day. That was it fell in love with them all over again. So i bought my white GT problem after problem I've encountered in the last 6 months but it havnt lost faith once and i never will.

The more that goes wrong the more determined i am to fix it. There have been times I've said whats the point but seconds later im over it and carry on regardless

these are minimum of 11 year old cars, they will be tired and old and need work doing to them - its just the nature of owning an older car - if we have anything to do bout it as long as people have interest in these cars we will have a site for it

I think its just the time of year where we all need a freaking chill out period from our EPs mate.

Some owners are getting more hassle then others but its just part and parcel of owning these older hot hatches.

I'm sure there is plenty more to come from mine (enjoyment & disappointment), but as long as she keeps giving me the wow factor when shes working I'll crack on, not crack up.

Some of us are here for the long haul so UKSC is here to stay

Aaaw. Uksc wont be going anywhere. Like si said, these are old cars and when youve spent so much money, time and blood for it to only break at the end of the day its very frustraiting.

And people will bitch and whine about like me... Or they will take it in there stride and get on with it.

No matter what car it is, somthing will always go wrong.

ha lol uksc aint goin nowhere but i can see why people are getting rid, because these cars are an absolute pain in the arse!!!!!! ive spent more time fixing my car than i have driving it everyday theres a new problem, noise, or rattle, my latest addition is my trd clutch has shit its self so cant drive it as i cant get gears! but il say now if ever my car is up for sale please report it as it will probally be the missus trying to make a few quid :harhar:

Think of all the joy these little cars bring despite there age and many flaws. There is no such thing as a flawless car (yet).

look at the times you go past people with all the newer flashy motors.

You guys shouldn't let a few things wrong with the car make you sell up.
