Amjad
I'm a bit blind lol can you point out where the brace is?Is the actuator bracket used for using HKS CT9 actuator on the TD04?
Josh@TunerLifestyle
amjad the brace is in the middle of the mani can only see it on the second pic

daz gt turbz
what managment you running iddy? do like those fenders, get them on properly and painted then i can take a long look at them!
Idrees
The one fender that is fitted will be coming back off as I can't take the time out to paint them. I'll be refitting the stock ones when I get a chance just so I can get the car on the road, and I'll fit the fenders at a later date.
ep_brad
out of interest how did you brace that manifold?
rinseep82
yea i saw this the other nite lookin tidy dude love those wheels
Idrees
I had a brace welded from flange to flange on the manifold, cheers Dale!I've took the turbo kit off and replaced the gaskets with genuine Subaru items. It's still blowing from somewhere though, it's nothing major but I need to sort it out! Everything else is running smooth, the engine is extremely quiet! I just need to fix the idle level on it, fit a new ICV, get the knock sensor wired up then fit the front bumper and fingers crossed I can get her Tax'd today as the Vtec is coming off the road! Bean
is prob the flanges not been flat mate, get a straight edge on them, they prob need skimmed.
Idrees
I stripped the turbo kit off and refitted it with genuine Subaru gaskets and she is now running sweet. The insurance is sorted and I'm in the process of buying road tax now. I've been using the Vtec for a week or so, and I can confirm that Boost is the way - even though the TD04 is only running at .5 bar.
Sparky
Boost>Vtec Good work mateMine will be .6bar before mapping, just wondering what it feels like to drive, how does it pull/spool on the stock ECU?

Amjad
I really hope this Toyosports setup is decent, might get TD04 power sooner than I thought I would
daz gt turbz
quite tempted to get my td04 kit on and run it on low boost till i get it mapped after seeing this.

Shib786
Haha at the Antifreeze thing, the car was off the road long before the winter! Anyways its going well, I wouldnt mind buying it back now ha only joking ! True Honda boy now !
Idrees
She's on the road now and running pretty well. I just need an EMB/Dastek so I can get her mapped at 1 bar. I also need to fit a new gearbox as the one on the car has a f**ked second gear. I just wish I knew about this when I changed the engine. I need to get a panhard rod fitted asap as one of the tyres is getting shredded. I've got Cusco and an RSR lying about so I'll fit one of the two.
Socks
why wud the panhard rod cause your tyre shredding? unless the bushes r fooked in your stocker? lollooking sweet idrees matey! i hope that turbo kit lasts wud be cheap kit for people if it holds out!
