glanza179
here are the cars from the Pros at jap show, simon norris put the fastest time of the day in with a 9.7 but overall winner was Gary Passingham in the GT-Art Skyline beating Gulli Haldorsson in the Roger Clark Motorsport Subaru Impreza in the finalWINNERJim
gaz
that rc car is one of my favs and the norris design one is the daddy, there both road legal too. thats why i like em more
lobotomy
I'm not that impressed by the RC Designs car, back in the day when it first out they were claiming 800BHP+, I saw a dyno sheet for it saying 600BHP, and every time it runs it blows up.
Robbo
really love the colour of that skyline at the top.

Guest Enzo
im gona make that a date in next years calender..looked like a great day.did noriss designs run the kwaka green mechine?
Guest Enzo
yea adrian... i know what your sayin about rc developments car..it looks the part but ive never seeenn it peform at its best
lobotomy
So far the car has had only one outing on the dragstrip, when it was throwing down 600 hp, and it ran the quarter-mile in 10.9 seconds. The car is currently geared for more than 200 mph and is expected to run in the high 9s on its next outing930Bhp / 673lb/ft - 1/4 MILE @10.25SecsSo it seems an extra 330BHp shaves 0.65s off your qtr, thats an expensive .65sIt is an awesome car though. gaz
saw it get i think it was a 10.3 last year, i went 2 the pod both times last year, such a great event!!!! prob the best!
gaz
it should be doing better with 930bhp to be honest, cant really compare it with old norrises as that is a lightweight machine, but!!>.. running 9's with i beilieve about 846bhp or something id feckin amazing! and road legal again. Nanglebadger
FARK me sideways that looks like a great event. the top skyline is really sweet lookin, love the boltgun-metal-like paint scheme, and that Norris wagon is indeed the daddy!!!!
glanza179
i was personally more impressed with the evos and the scoobys you expect big power and speed out of the 6 cylinder supras and skylines but the old 4 bangers taught them a lesson this time roundjim
lobotomy
Yeah you often forget that sometimes Jim; you think how much faster Skylines are than an impreza say, but the block is 1/3 bigger (assuming there's no shneaky stroker/overbore kits used)It's also another reason you see some of the american scoobies running 9's and such, because they're using aftermarket FI kits on the 2.5NA block and wondering why british scoobies have trouble getting near those times. scutch0
yeah, i prefer the older r32 to any of the newer skylines.Rich.
