Been down to the car today as the weather has been blinding. Managed to get the wings to fit a bit better need some more work but it's a start. Test fitted the livesport reps with it. Love it can't wait for the engine to be sorted so I can get it back on the road.

Engine has been stripped down it's not good news. Something happened to the crank which inturn has worn a groove into the block flywheel end and also chipped bits of the crank off I'm gutted as the rest of the engine is mint can even still see the hone marks on the bores. So I'm now in need of a block and crank.

A year on still haven't had the new engine built back up yet. life seams to get in the way put away most of the cash to get it built back up now so that's good. Really missing it now hopefully have it back to working condition by summer next year fingers crossed.

Have you looked at spacing the front wheels out? I used to run 20mm hub centric spacers with my cruise wings on the old black V.

Handled nice with the slightly wider front track.

Hey dude glad to see you back. I have 20mm hubcentric spacers currently think I'd need to get 40mm ones made up for it to look good I'll see when I get round to being bothered. Still waiting on engine to be built up hopefully after winter it's ready for me to pick up.

Ah I'm sure you will be in love again when the engine is ready and back in. Nothing happens fast when you have a family to prioritise. I know that feeling mate.

2023 Hoping to get my engine back in the next few months.  hoping to have it back on the road by the summer been way to long.

Got me a set of slipstream 15x7 ET28 theses should fit over the ksports with no spacers. No news on the engine ill continue to wait I guess.

Spent a bit of time down at the car today to check the fitment of the new wheels they fit sopt on no spacers needed. Also took the fiberglass wings off as I really can't be bothered with them at the moment.

Finaly some news on the engine it's been built and ready for collection 💪 😎 👌 hopefully going up 1st March to pick it up.

Decied it was time i got some proper lifts for the car as the jack and axel stands were doing my head in. Decided on a set of kwik lifts much safer imo. So much easier to get it up in the air now.

Hey dude got them from here added the pinch weld blocks aswell. CLICK ME they weren't cheap but well worth the money imo.

Sorted out the front coilovers today one was free and the other wouldn't budge for anything so out came the grinder to cut it off replaced both lower mounts and a few of the collars as they were chewed up lick of copper slip to keep them free. 

Slowly making my way through my list of jobs.

One that runs and drives one that doesn't my gearbox is currently in the one that runs lol. After going out on track with Dave at Japfest its time to pull my finger out and get mine back up and running. once he gives me my box back 😂

Been ticking jobs off thermostat housing on clutch and flywheel on inlet on. my box is still currently in daves car I have an other with bearing issues that im going to chuck in just to get then engine back in and run in.

tbh i think your looks better without the fenders on. They were cool when rare back in the day, now theres copies everywhere.

Decided that today was the day I was getting the engine back in. I've put my broken but working box on just so I can run the engine in. Manage to get in the bay today. Next week I'll button every thing up. Won't be long till it's first start.
