Aye mate u no am up for it lol. its a starlet were talkin about. :) al go on gtturbo n find out all the torqe settings n sequence to so its done proper. Is it the full block n bottom your want changed or just the crank?

Seen the same glanza about 3 times now. makes me feel the same way when a see one to lol as mines is not ready for the road lol. :/

whits yours all gettin done mate ? , a toyed wae the idea a coupla months ago o breakin mines because a couldny be arsed sortin it , fucker won me over tha haha couldny break it so started workin on it , ma engine is sittin aboot a 3rd of the way built back up fae a complete rebuild haha td04 kit is nearly complete anaw :) goin for full respray tae so every panel is aff lyin as a bare shell the now ready to stert preppin, its takin alot o time n effort but itll aww be worth it in the end :)

Fuck sake me sounds like alot a work your doin? are u forging the engine? I've done quite a bit to my gt. A started with takin the engine out as the guy a got it from never noo alot about it other than a auto to manual gearbox conversion. then a started to clean the bay n spray it. since then its had loads a shit added to it. still got a good bit to do still but its comin along nicely.

aye mate ALOT o work lol , but a got ma starlet fur 1500 and tbh the body work wis quite tidy still , next to no rust oan her and that that was ther wis just surface rust , nah mate am no forging it like am just aimin to build a sweet / reallly healthy running engine n eventually map the car tae aboot a bar and aim for about 230ish , am wantin the car to shift well but am no wantin to sacrifice the reliability fur mare power , am only 20 plenty o years fur that yit hahaha !

Fitted ma new turbo but was smoking like hell coming off boost so the mob tht done the seals will prob needa do them again. So ive refitted my old turbo and now it will only boost to 0.2 bar :S fuck knows what the score is only thing tht i can think of is the standard actuator has 2 vac nipples on it and im assuming ive put the vac pipe from the turbo onto the wrong one. Any other suggestions?

Fuck sake mate gutted. who u gettin to do the seals? Just incase a get any a the same shit lol. were did u get the turbo from? Ul be wishin u just stuck to standard buy the time your done. :/

Glasgow turbo specialists in Govan mate theyve been decent enough though these things happen could be anything thats causing it. I got it off a guy on here called hazzagray. I needto wait and see they said the bearing housin could have a tiny crack and thats where its leaking under pressure just a matter of being patient.

Aye its not been that long in the doing i suppose i only got it fitted last week so not too bad yet plus its still on the road just stuck ma old ct9 on. With the aftermarket mani and de cat can whip it all off in haf an hour its great lol. Nah mate just doing it in the car park round from ma gaff do all our work down there places is a riot skyline body parts everywhere haha.

wel c if the crankshafts scored coza the spun bearin then wel take it from there. the guy a bought it from said it hadnt been driven long afta it fucked up so hopefully its just the crank we need to change! dyin to get this blitzd!! :wub:

il finish pluggin in the interior loom sein as I've been too busy/lazy to do it recently 2 lol

U'll all be glad to hear tht a folded and ma car no longer has A/C id just like to mention yous are all wankers and my car has been ruined through your peer pressure lol.

sweet u need to get this done your to close now lol . i spent bout 4 hours today striping one of the engine looms for my mini tuck fuck me theres alot of shit on the loom either than or i cut far to much off :p

Almost there i see Paul, my engines in but im fucked if i can remember wherr evrrything plugs into! Got my coilovers and new wheels on, she lookd a treat.

Is that oil return ok for you Studoc?

Aye its sorted and on now just needs a little tweaking and to get me IC sorted and I needto get my EMU then map time so not much to do now. Still goes well without the mapping just worries me a little so try and stay off boost as much as i can.
