well after alot of hard work today the car is finally running sweet, adjusted the fuel pressure etc but the fault was vaccum pipes.

basically what i had done is put a vaccum pipe onto a water pipe (a)... Ooops but it was a case of quick, put all the pipes on as it should start and excitement got the better of me but now it is all sorted.

idles at 1500rpm cold and 1000rpm at normal running temprature so all is good :)

few little things ive had to do tho.

1. remove my screamer pipe and left the tial wastegate just open as the screamer wouldnt allow my bottom radiator hose to go on :(

2. fill the car with coolant

3. top up power steering

4. move the radiator about for the mean time as i need to fab some new rad brackets

5. solved a boost leak.. stupid shitty jubilee clips and old silicone hose (will be getting replaced)

6. basically put all the little bits back together I.e bumper, strut brace etc.. even some new bits to make it look nice smiley.gif

And last but not least 7. BOV'D a chav on the little test drive i had up the street cheesy.gif

Pictures shall be added soon :)

Had the car MOT'd also and it passed :D

few things needed doing like the seats being placed in properly as i had just put them in with 3 bolts.. Ooops, coilovers failed but changed them over, emissions.. yeahh my emissions came out of a vauxhall vivaro's exhaust.. magical i know :p.

One advisory was the backseats were missing which they are as i dont want them in lol.

Overall good progress and the car should be back on the road within the next two weeks.. fingers crossed of course :)

Not done alot these past few days but i did have a bit of spare time today and did a few little bits..

Removed intercooler pipe and checked my inlet (not too bad)

DSC_0135.jpg

DSC_0136.jpg

i did clean it up with some metal polish but i forgot to take a after picture.. Ooops

Also found a bracket at work that could be handy to me and i was right.. very handy indeed :)

ive had a very weak top cross member were the bonnet catch attatchs too, well it flexs and make the bonnet very hard to close and awkward to adjust to make it open up again so i put the bracket to use.

The bracket

DSC_0137.jpg

Unfortunatly the hole was not big enough :(.. but i got the drill out and soon sorted that

DSC_0140.jpg

10mm Nut and sorted.. a strong bonnet catch and top cross member, no more flex :)

DSC_0141.jpg

Also bought a Orange anodised engine torque damper, shall get pictures when it arrives in the post :)

things still needed (short term)

Engine torque damper brackets/kit

12mm Braided hose for rocker breather

Tegiwa EK rad stay

63mm 90 degree silicone hose elbow piece for fmic

63mm-53mm reducer, 90 degree silicone hose elbow piece for fmic

With the above, the car is in safe working order at low boost :)

Thankyou :), yeahh hasnt been easy and been without a car for 8 months to afford the forged lump etc but worth it in the end :D

I don't know what I'd do without my car :o haha!! Currently don't have and big expensive plans for the car as I'm a student. I think TD04 maybe one day but I'd be happy with hybrid and around 200bhp
