Taggy
After JAE i had heard that a few of you were talking about making a club starlet pickup style truck, chop top (if i read correctly). I thought it would be a good idea as a club owned vehicle for the shows and stuff.I know loads of people have got loads of stock starlet parts lieing around in their garages/sheds and i think you could easily make up a good project car from donations. I for one have got loads of stuff spare.I was toying of the idea of donating the EP82 shell to the club so you could start building it.What you think?

SiCaln
yea I'm also happy to donate parts/money/time
Taggy
I think you could repair mine easy enough if you had the time, but alot of the parts are being moved over to the ep70, in paricular the engine and coilovers. I am sure someone would have some standard suspension lieing around they could donate though It could be repaired easily enough through, just needs a front wing. rob_bower
I have a wing! Lol yea it's something we were bantering about! The only issue I've found would be the bed wouldn't be long enough for the marquee! Lol it would be cool though all uksc's up for shows etc!
miib14
but with a gt will be awesome. Russellil have a go at doing that tonight after work
Starbuck
With a bit of work you could extend the bed. But more costly.
rob_bower
Yea as that would require extended brake lines and cables fuel pipes etc! Might be better off with a van. Just remove the seats and glove box! Lol! Or make a rack so the sit ove the roof!
TrisK
we would have to fmic amongst other things.i see it as ending up something like thishttp://speedhunters.com/archive/2010/07/03...r33-pickup.aspx

dai_starletN/A
why don't you use like a safari rack to over come the short bed plus you can add spot light on the rack it will look sweet.
rob_bower
what more like this?
TrisK
from looking at quite a few pick up conversions that ive seenskyline r33jag pick upwe will need some sort of aframe, which comes from the roof shut to the rear strut for rigidtiy
