Nothing more annoying then following a lorry on motorway or a b road and you have to keep washing your window to find that its so cold the washer jets are frozen up! Not for me I was expecting to have to file the bonnet a bit or somthing like that to get them to fit. But im amazed that there a direct fit!If anything there a better fit then the stock items lol! Nice tight seal!Bit fiddley to fit but I cant fault them, there a really good misty spray pattern!Ive wired them up to the 12v on the front heated screen. Cant see the point in having them on all the time!I managed to get myself to a scrapyard today finally, I found 2x Mk4 Ghia X's and a Puma.Some bits had been taken, but some goodies still there. Some I can sell on and some Im fitting to my motor!First off....I can replace this:with this:Ford Puma Gearknob! Feels Great, Really Clicky/Selecty feel to the gears now, removed any flex there was in the old rubber/leather knob.Its a bit scuff, but its in better nick then my old cracked one!Mk4 Fiesta Black Clock Surround:Mk5 Fiesta Grey Clock Surround:More modern... and finally today I found this in a Puma: I dont smoke so I may as well have a CD/Coin holder. Saying that I dont have CD's so maybe just a phone holder or somthing. Either way its of more use to me then an ashtray!Wind Deflectors Sutle and very handy mod, keeps the majority of draft away from you when window is down!Fitted:New on left, old on right!Old:New:Quite alot brighter and whiter! Pioneer 6400BT Headunit! It has it all, USB, SD, Bluetooth Handsfree Calls & Audio Streaming, Fr and Rr AUX and a nice interface! The bluetooth calling is so so clear and streaming music is also brilliant! Fitted witha Autoleads Fascia Adaptor..Also, a Mk5 Fiesta Silver Heater Control Panel w/5-Position Fan Switch! Perfect for my phone!Was a pain to get the old ashtray part out tho, had to take off the center console area to get at 1 screw!Few more scrappy finds too:Some kind of Ford battery cover, has a ford part number too. Duno what there off or even what car they came on but fits mine perfect and my fav...Ford Mondeo Mk3 Ghia Auto Dipping Rear Mirror!Ive driven a Mk6 Golf with this function and its great... If you have one of them OAP's that forget to turn there High Beam off (no matter how many times u flash your brake lights or fog light) or just some bumhole who hasnt got HID's adjusted properly.. So heres a update!Got all my sound deadening laid under the carpet, just havent put the plastic outer trims back in yet...Ive put two thick layers in and its sooo quite! Cant hear the engine at idle and at 40mph you can only just hear the tyre roar! Amazing Feeling!boot is all done, just need to finish the rattle matt, put carpet back in and get some bigger carpet for top layer!also, since the wiring is already there behind the door cards... bought these electric mirrors, in the same colour too haha!Just need the interior trim pieces and switch for them ^^and lastly, got round to preparing my snoopy kit!Looking ruude Eyeing up some steel wheels too! But more to come people!Ill try keep ontop of this thread!I won this on ebay:http://www.ebay.co.u...984.m1423.l2649Bargain to be honest lol!So setoff on a 100mile journey to collect the exhaust.. this happened:Yep... Thats a pair of cutters embedded blunt end first into my tyre!Which meant I needed a new tyre for these stock naff wheels!So, I managed to get home safely with the exhaust and got that fitted!Got to love Piper's!Then managed to get my hands on some Ford Fusion 15x6J Steel Wheels, which I refurbished and wrapped in Toyo Proxy T1R's!Steel wheels cost me £5, £10 in refurb materials and the Tyres cost me £32 each! Bargain Really!Because they are 15's! This would allow me to do the 300mm Brake Conversion!Mondeo Mk3 Calipers & CarriersMondeo Mk3 Brake PadsFocus ST170 300mm DiscsBit of shaving was required with a grinder to clear the wheel tho!Running 6mm spacers front and 4mm spacers rear..So... She stops as good as a much more modern car.Handles like a modern car with slightly bigger wheels and light steel wheels.She looks like this as of today:Excuse the mucky car, weather is poo today!More to come folks, still a bunch of stuff to fit that I have waiting... It stops better then the Glanza tbh, the brakes are unreal...Modified Look - I want it to stand out a little from the crowd, not OTT tho...Plenty of Toys - Ive got pretty much every optional extra for this era of fiesta now with the exception of a couple I believe...On a Budget - The car stands me at fuck all and the changes Ive made havent cost ought really!Forgot to mention went straight through an MOT on Friday... Only advisory was blowing exhaust, which had 5 holes in it...Which I obv changed for the SS Piper System! Cheers Phil!to be honest... Piper 4-2-1 Manifold, Coilovers (not set daft low, stock shocks r fucked), 1.7 Puma Engine (go straight in), Fit Snoopy kit and get a bit of paintwork touched up and ill leave her be then!
