Josh@TunerLifestyle
im replacing my inlet manifold today with my mirror polished one just thought id whip up a thread before i start as i have never taken one off before!is it straight forward enough? anything i need to watch out for? can i do it all from the top or do i need access underneath the car?any info will be great guys cheers!josh
micky boy
Theres a bracket at the back of the inlet you will need to get under the car to get that off other then that everything can be done at the top off the car.Theres 2 vacuum hoses that go into the back of the inlet just make sure you put a sticker on what pipe go's where as its quite easy to get them mixed up other then that its prity stright forward
Josh@TunerLifestyle
cheers will have a go is there no way i could do it all from the top? im quiet small with small arms and can get into tight places lol
ryan lang
you can get to it from the top i thought the heardest part was removing the wiring loom from the bracket! lolbut if your going to be using the bottom bracket again then i would worry to much about taking the loom off lol
LukeSR
The bottom bracket was a right **** on my SR lol

Steve GT
Brackets are annoying at the back and the bottom bolts of the inlet are a real squeeze to get to. Deffo not straight forward but not impossible

ryan lang
josh, just be careful with the injector seals going back in. be gentle and twist them back and fore instead of trying to push them straight in
