Painted and fitted front strut brace, bit or red on the rocker, Lovely new gear knob and changed the pads. Changing the pads was a proper fucker as one of the calliper bolts was seized =/

FreedomCore
Cheers man. No doubt I'll get stuck when it comes to the finishing touches Only the finest rattle cans. I'll be using a leveller and giving them a polish before lacquer though
george97
Haha fair enough man
Rich-k
Dont polish them before you laquer them bro either end up washing the basecoat off or causing the laquer to react, you dont wanna leave them to go too hard before you laquer them as it wont stick to the basecoat
george97
^^ I second that! Just de-nib them once the laquer has hardened.
trigger
Aye, I done mine a few days ago, flat back the primer with some 600 grit wet and dry and give it about a hour after applying the base coat before lacquering. Then after 24 hours flat the faces back with some 1200 grit wet and dry and finish with a good polish, should see them looking dandy.
