Im still fucking waiting for my stainless weighted gear knob to get made. Been emailing this guy for like 4 months now lol.

Think im going to do a bit of metal polishing today. Going to mull over repainting my rocker....again. The current paint came up a little messy. Will probably just use standard paint this time as opposed to using high temp paint.

Any opinions or ideas on what scheme/ style i should do this time?

Someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm sure if your use standard paint in your rocker cover it will just flake off once it gets hot would be ashame to paint it up and it flake off

True but ive read somewhere that it will last a fair while anyway. It's just that there are a huge variety of colours or finishes in high temp paint.

I had normal paint on my rocker n it was fine.

Prob wont last forever but will do for a good amount of time

Starletsr? Used non heat resistant clear lacquer and you should see it! It's all crinkled up and doesn't look so good, I will try and get him to post up a pic for you

I hate my friends. Followed a mate down some random bumpy back road. Then bam! I slam down onto a rock and dented my fucking sump. The sump itself looks intact. But the p/s wheel was making a bit of a noise after.

I fucking hate those guys. Really pissed me off.

Your p/s? But thats right up top well out the way of the floor, you sure its not just the idler/tensioner?

No serious, i cant see how a rock hitting your sump can affect the p/s pump which is completely out the way, you can see it in your last pic next to the manifold.

The tensioner wheel sits below the p/s pump which is why i thought it might have been that instead?

No he's being serious, the P/S pump is right at the top of the block, on the left hand side when stood looking into the bay

Right so i just went out and had a look. got some pics.

So this first one you can see the indent and a fair amount of oil. The next picture will explain the oil as i thought it was the sump.

I then noticed this. What a pain considering i only painted it yesterday. I quickly took the rocker off and gave the edges and gasket a wipe to clear any debris.
