akyakapotter
As above was having a bit of a spirited drive to work this morning. (EVO in front of me's fault) Noticed on half throttle it would fly along but as soon as I put my toe right to the floor it was bogging down / holding back any ideas on this ?? Thanks nick
micky boy
Power should be built not flogged that could be half of the problem lol..But on another note as it always been like this or has it just started bogging down?

funny onion
Mine was the same, turne out to be Fueling. Even if it doesn't feel like a misfire. Get a wideband on it as check the Fueling I'd say.
StuDoc 72
Does it feel like your hitting the restrictor? Engine management light popping up at the same time?

ForgedV
I had the same problem on my GT changed the map sensor and igniter pack and it was fine. Maybe even throttle position switch/ sensor?
akyakapotter
so worth doing a diognistics check on it then see if i get any codes ill do it tomorrow map sensors a fooking expensive lol
akyakapotter
forogot to add have a 255L fuel pump to fit will this make things any better apparantly im runnig a bit lean on full boost.
funny onion
Mine runs at a higher afr than that and it's fine. But every car is different I suppose. And im not telling you to knock the fueling back before anyone starts. Maybe try setting throttle position up with a multimeter. Really it an only be air, fuel or spark, or a sensor doing weird things to the ecu. (don't think it would be the ecu itself). Just going to be a case of eliminating as you try different things. I'd check the gaps on the plugs, check leads dizzy and rotor, then start checking tps, air temp sensor etc. But I am known to be overly paranoid Edited June 19, 2012 by funny onion
