WallaceGlanza Posted June 29, 2012 Posted June 29, 2012 Might need a pickle fork if they're tight to help ease (bash) them out. Quote

Flaminsam Posted June 29, 2012 Posted June 29, 2012 I crack them with a hammer. Hit them in the correct place and the shock will dislodge even the most stubborn ball joints. Quote
funny onion Posted June 29, 2012 Posted June 29, 2012 Apart from on my old clio, god himself could not remove it! Quote
LukeSR Posted June 29, 2012 Author Posted June 29, 2012 Cheers boys and girls.. If I have a problem you will all soon know Quote
rinseep82 Posted June 29, 2012 Posted June 29, 2012 Should b a quick job dude the top but may b a bastard if the ball joints are really worn when u try and loosen the top nut from where the ball joint goes through the hub it may just spin so u can either clamp the ball joint with some mole grips and a bit of heat on the nut or just do what I do and bang out the grinder and go to town on it haha Quote
akyakapotter Posted June 30, 2012 Posted June 30, 2012 Ball joint splitter I have 2 as im greedy lol Quote
jtaylor1990 Posted June 30, 2012 Posted June 30, 2012 Piece of piss dude, I cant remember but the ball joint may have a split pin to get out too, make sure u remove that carefully because u may not get a new one with the new kit, but I could be wrong about them havin split pins.A fuck off mallet should do the job though as previously stated Quote
rinseep82 Posted June 30, 2012 Posted June 30, 2012 Some have split pins some don't just depends Quote
