drongo boi
I'd say buy another hub to be safe lol
starletburkie
low hydrogen rod will weld cast but i think it will be ok the way it is! just get a better man on that grinder lol
jezza
I doubt it would fail but would change it for peace of mind. Shouldn't be too costly for a used hub. I'm puzzled how he cut it at that angle, nowhere near the bolt.
morgey
Just get a new hub and bearing, hub shouldnt be too much off of here and a bearings what £25-30 if the new hub even needs a new one!brakes, ball joint etc are all removable and reusable on the new hub, better be safe than sorry IMOI say new hub i mean 2nd hand off a breaker ;) Edited December 20, 2012 by morgey
iamlegend
that bolt is turned around and was the other way jezza.. so i only need hub.. seems the front brake is all attached thow in
morgey
The brake bolts on infont of and next to the shock and one lower down, 2 either 14mm or 17mm headed bolts
starletburkie
all you need is a hub the rest comes off via bolts
morgey
Yea if you look at this pic />http://i892.photobucket.com/albums/ac122/stuartmurphy/Project%20V/HPIM2895.jpgYou can see the two holes where the brake carrier would bolt onto it. The arm to the bottom right is the one you cut through and the one at the top right is the steering arm Edited December 20, 2012 by morgey
