morgey Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 Been about a while this, 1800 frankenstein 7age build but this will most likely have custom crank with forged rods and hi comp pistons 7age is 7afe block, crank and rods With either a 4age 16v or 20v head and pistonsThen a Porsche 944 cambelt lol Quote
JordanEP91 Posted March 11, 2013 Author Posted March 11, 2013 Haha sounds like you know what your taking about I doubt the horse power if that high just loads of torque! Quote
morgey Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 Haha I've considered doing a conservative version of this myselfI'd guess the power would be around the 230-250fly hp and torque 150lbft ish but in such a light car it must fly! Lol Quote
JordanEP91 Posted March 11, 2013 Author Posted March 11, 2013 Haha yeah, I just can't get over how it revs, I bet the dog box in it wasn't cheap either! Quote

morgey Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 (edited) Its not they are 1600's this is a 1800. The cam covers on FA engines are raised towards the cam gears whereas these are stock 16v 4age cam covers. Finding the parts for a FA engine is hard enough and prob cost more than custom parts lolI put money on this being a custom hi-comp 7age 16v build.Just had a quick read up on it, it used to run a hasslegren (formula atlantic engine builders) 4age but now runs a hasslegren built 7age with a similar spec'd build to that of the 4age.So essentially its a 7age formula atlantic engine which is mostly custom shizzleHasslegrenhttp://hasselgren.com/toyota-4ag-4age/ Edited March 12, 2013 by morgey Quote
