I've been watching that like a hawk lol the misses says I need to be rid of 2 of my current cars and with a diesel barge on the drive before I can buy a beast lol damn it. Otherwise I'd be bidding on that now!

GT86 8)

Gonna give them a few years until they are down to 10k! It was the GT86 that got me thinking of the Autech S15! Revvy 2 litre 200bhp petrol engine, RWD, similar weights, 6 speed box... Arguably as good looking/better looking :p

Yeah, the starting price is 46k euros in here thanks to taxes, so it will take some years before second hand ones are down to reasonable level. :-(

I need to really! Looking at a posh barge to be honest to blend on the work car park . Currently there are 3 guys that work below me that outsnob me considerably! A 911 Carrera 4S, a Boxter S and a TVR Cerbera (sounds like thunder! lol).

N/A 15's are shit slow... save the cash and buy a nice well specced UK S14a with a turbo and have fun :)

Its basicly the same car in a different frock.

S15 Spec S's are, essentially theyre just a rebodied S14 with a 5 speed box and no tubby. 150bhp etc etc.

The Autech S15s came with a smidge over 200bhp, R33GTR front brakes, R34 rear brakes, the 6 speed box from the Spec R and a slippy diff... Basically they have everything the Spec R has bar a turbo! Just VVT and a high compression ratio :p

Yeah and they are shit slow...the Turbo's have VVT as well ;) Also the Autech has the same brakes as the Spec R which are the same brakes as a normal S14/S14a.

TBH They aint worth the premium they go for IMO simply because for the same cash you could probably by a Spec S and turbo it.

Of course if you want a noisy, slow wasp car that looks really pretty...go for it. You'll find pretty much any modern hot hatch pumping you in a straight line though... that shit doesn't fly in my book...
