Rob H@RCH Engineering
Quick q while I'm here, are lower ball joints same as NA? Noticed a split on the boot To answer that yes they are mate and yes you can get replacement boots for them but a new ball joint is only around 15 quid too!

loguey
Lucky you spotted that, you may have ended up forking out loads on bottom arms and steering racks.
Amjad
Is it split. To the extent that it can let dirt in. And grease out? Yeah the alignment guys said it would be an MOT failure. My MOT tester did the work so when I go back to him in the morning I'll get him to replace it or knock the cost off my MOT price! To answer that yes they are mate and yes you can get replacement boots for them but a new ball joint is only around 15 quid too! Thanks Rob! Lucky you spotted that, you may have ended up forking out loads on bottom arms and steering racks. Lucky Asad mentioned it! lol Just span the top mounts round, ohh my god!! such an improvement! Felt like an absolute dog to drive earlier, now it's much smoother!! Just hoping that it brought the toe back in line (it did seem to pull the rods in!)
Amjad
And thanks to everyone for the help, will update soon!
morgey
If you want it feeling really good, get the alignment done, your front top mounts are both different still. Would be even better
asbo-v
And get lift kit aswell for castor may help on movement but it should of aligned up ok if you have a speedy fit around your area there your best bet
