Bought a 'R' reg Glanza V a few weeks ago and it only came with one standard key. When I lock the drivers door it only occasionally locks the passenger door too, however the door lock button in the car works as it should.

My questions are:

Can I buy a OEM remote fob, then program it to unlock and lock all the doors, or will I need to install an aftermarket system?

If not:

What could be causing the intermittent fault with only one door locking?

If its only locking the other side occaisionally then there something you need to figure out.

1. There may be a technique as in you turn it a certain way or distance.

2. A switch must be in a correct position.

3. You have a sticky soleniod.

you can get a replacement fob there about £30 and take all of 30 seconds to program you can do it yourself, no need for any other equipment.

Providing you have the sensor and you car had it from factory
