Definately braided oil feed is a good investment, most aftermarket manis adjust the angle of turbo putting a strain on the feed which will kill it. They are prone to going with any manifold mind you, save yourself an engine!

Yea so my first ever big update on a car!

Decided to say fuck it and go tits out! Sent my hybrid away to liam_D at midland turbos! And what can I say! It was an amazing service from start to finish... As you all know I'm not 100% clued up with turbos yet so Liam had to perserviear abit with me and help me! Turbo was picked up, rebuilt and sent back ! And made very nice and shiny too ! Always a bonus! Came into abit of problems with the shaft though so was abit deeper into my pockets but he was very helpful and made sure it was sorted to 100%

Felt like Christmas

And again could eat your dinner off it !

Yea so after taking me and my mechanic friend 7 hours to change a turbo haha ! (Rounded nuts and couldn't find the grinder) the hybrid is finally on and working ! The thing is absaloutley rapid ! Pulls like fuck, way faster than the standard turbo and I'm only running 0.5 bar! So it's safe

Then wee ran into a few problems, the turbo wasn't positioned right, not blaming anyone atall just a mistake along the lines somewhere so turbo came back out to sort this issue as nothing lined up as you can see and wee didn't want to damage anything

But yea ! Now shees in and pulling like a train ! Next on the list are :

boost gauge

Front mount

Fuel pressure regulator

Wheels powder coated

Along with rocker cover

Sort out a few niggles of mine

And drive it like I stole it !

There was rounded nuts and the two halfs of the turbo went positioned right so needed to turn them slightly

And the intercooler pipe was off !

This v is mint! You need a fmic and aftermarket mani and decat bud. I loved my old v on a hybrid set up. The pull so hard its unreal.

Yea guys so finally got a decent update, my clutch started slipping a few weeks back and it got to the point I was flat out doing 70 haha so I thought I better fix it, went for the exedy stage 2, 3 paddel clutch. Really nice not too bad to drive with but mainly it doesn't slip ... So win!!

But when the clutch was getting done when it was back together there was a bad misfire, turns out the plugs were fucked!! So they were changed but also the ht leads were fucked aswell so long story short my car is back and I'm happy and love it again 😃!!!
