daniel_g
Whats the current price for the 85 specific ones ? Or is it the same ? I'll need to save for a while but defo needing them at some point.
shorty
As above also still want ep85 coilovers. But just looked and they arnt listed on the site so guessing they are still more than the ep82/91 coilovers??
DevonGT
Still £749 with the discount I believe.
daniel_g
Sorry, wont be paying that.
shorty
As above. Considering there is less material used to make the rears on the ep*5's and thats only 20quid of the original rrp of the ep82/91 coils befor the 60odd discount they get is like those super cars that cost more when you buy them without the ac, stero and comfy seats lol. JayJ
From webshop: Starting at £769Options 4wd (ep85/95) (+100£) Link if it works
daniel_g
Thing is there is 3 potential buyers (i think ??) for the 85 coilovers but the price puts me right off the idea. Selling a few of the 4paw ones is gotta be better than selling none haha. Also i'd like to know how you justify the increased price ? Surely it cant all be down to R&D ? I'm just interested thats all
Mikep82
I also can use an 85 set to ;)
Vincent-ep91
I'm interested in ep91 coilovers but the price... ohh my god!!
Patches
Your a bunch of tight bastards, they arent even that expensive. If you have a ep95/85 then be happy that they are actually producing a product for what is a very rare car.
Mikep82
I smell a even better gb discount coming up...
shorty
As above 10% is nice but still very steep. Considering how many starlets their are now it would be nice to see the prices dropping more to be in line with parts for the likes of civics and mx5's. And patches greatful us ep*5 owners are indeed. Mugs we however are not lol. The price is too high for ep*5 sets and I've been interested for over 2 years now but not at this price which has yet to budge.
morgey
i remember 3 or 4 years ago you could buy bc's and meisters for £550, surely the cost of R&D has been covered now so the price should reduce not have gone up by £200?
K24_glanza
Yeah i would be up for some *5 ones if the price was a bit more reasonable.
Addymk2
They are the best coilovers available for Sarlets, period. The price is reasonable for the quality your getting. I would rate my Meisters wayyyy above the Eibachs I've got now and they were over £800 new. Performance and reliabiliy don't come cheap.
Vincent-ep91
Yeah I very much agree with shorty, I was on the verge of buying a second hand set of coilovers today but came to my senses. cummon, lower the price a bit! OR organize a group buy!
shorty
I dont deny the quality, I've driven on a good few sets in various members cars. But i do think the price is too high. And would be nice to see a response from jerrick and maybe a groupbuy oppertunity. Not so fussed on quiet tradders. Tgtt was full of em for a while.
Addymk2
But, unless the EP85 coilies require a lot more tooling I can't see why theres such a price hike personally...
MeisterR
Hello, But, unless the EP85 coilies require a lot more tooling I can't see why theres such a price hike personally...The tooling is different so there is a different cost involved so the pricing reflects that. In response to everyones posts here we have adjusted the pricing slightly. I will be speaking to Jerrick and will be looking to put something together for everyone. I'll see what we can do about a group buy so please expect a further update soon. Edwin

daniel_g
Your a bunch of tight bastards, they arent even that expensive. If you have a ep95/85 then be happy that they are actually producing a product for what is a very rare car.Really lol ???
Patches
Really lol ???Yes really delivered they are cheaper than the bc equivalent. But bring on this group buy!
morgey
Yes really delivered they are cheaper than the bc equivalent. But bring on this group buy!Only By £9 though, group buy would be good but i think 5 people will struggle to source £650+
