Ep'd
I want a second toy and really like the properly kitted out mazda speed rx8s. Has anyone had any experience with these cars?
akyakapotter
My friend used to have one you better have deep pockets to fuel it

morgey
Couple of my mates have/had them, rear end is very lively with no traction control on and fuels sub 20mph need to keep on top of oil as well! One of them packed up driving down the dually, but he only brought it to rag about in so was probably down to negligence. Ep'd
I will research more into it but for a grand you get a lot of car and a bit of luxury.
Addymk2
And bills over a grand when they go boom lol for that price just buy an E36 328 sport, more luxury, same poke, harder looks lol

daniel_g
For a toy for sliding about in a RX-8 is a fair choice, theyve got issues like but you can have a bit of fun in them
Addymk2
I've got a lotta friends with RX8s who would disagree, there's a reason they're selling for peanuts. My old Altezza when it was standard outpaced my mates apparently 210bhp model, by quite a whack. Nice cars for the cash though
daniel_g
Dont get me wrong i wouldnt advise one as a daily, but for a track car or toy its not too bad for the money, im quite often up at the Mazda garage and have pals who are Techs there, ive seen the engines fail after 30 odd K and the cost of repair if outta warrenty but every car has issues haha.RX7s are however far better
