Glanza-Ben Posted September 29, 2013 Posted September 29, 2013 Just disconnect the battery then remove steering wheel plastics 4x Phillips screws, the behind wheel is 2 screws undo them and pull the air bag then disconnect the wiring and put the air bag some where safe then use a 19mm ratchet to remove the steering wheel then refit the new one with boss kit

rob_bower Posted September 29, 2013 Posted September 29, 2013 You would either need to do this ^^^ of it is possible to get the connection from a none airbag toyota it's like a little brass connection on a spring which rides on the brass round on the back of the boss.

Nanglebadger Posted September 30, 2013 Posted September 30, 2013 i had to wire in a new switch for mine, as getting one of the direct fit bosses is ~£100 or there abouts IIRC. few quid for a bush button off Demon Tweeks and job done. Phil.

Im just lucky my dad does it then I guess! If there is something actually wrong then It wont pass but things like rear fog, HID's and horn etc... meeeh!

shorty Posted October 1, 2013 Posted October 1, 2013 Lol doesnt even need that over here just a sound mot tester, when i had my v with a front exit i wierdly had the same emmissons result as a pug307! Was suprised to be honest. Very eco friendly my v was.
