danny-baby
well the chap that just put a link up thats a bloody good price for a good exhaust, no silencers or resenators perfect for max flow i thought all the buddy clubs were stainless unless there copies, its the 0.5mm and the stainless that gives it that lovely ting sound on boost
Whitenoize
My mate had one on his civic bought it brand new it didn't even last two year before it was needing welding
Chris_GlanzaV98
mines has never needed any work in nearly 3 years, however i do beleive its restricting power when chasing 300hp + so mines will be coming off soon enough shame aswell i love it
daniel_g
Chris, cant you just get a 3'' or as near as pipe made up and have the BCS2 backbox ? Or you going front exit ?
Chris_GlanzaV98
its easier just to sell it mate and it wont cost me to make up a full 3" system rather than chop the spec II into bits just to keep the back box you know
danny-baby
well are u running ex waste gate, as 2,5 and a inch waste gate is like 3.5 exhaust that should be enough to run around

Chris_GlanzaV98
Lol yeah same guy haha ! Actually thats not a bad shout you know i might get the cooler and inlet on it and map it again and see what the difference is like and then ill be able to tell if its restrictive
smithyithy
I'm sure Liam D has got a custom made exhaust that looks just like the Buddy Club but was probably a lot cheaper... I mean if you find a reputable fabricator that has quality 0.5mm, you could get a rep made up much cheaper, that's probably the route I'd go..
Banbury Glanza
Think Liam had a spec 2 then got dean @ rw developments to make another rear section for him
danny-baby
well that link is 330 for a new one so if i can get a second hand one cheaper then im happy if not thats not such a bad price for a brand new exhaust
Banbury Glanza
It's gotta have welding done to it mate so there is more cost on top of the £
smithyithy
It's gotta have welding done to it mate so there is more cost on top of the £330 Think he said he can weld himself dude, that's why I linked it cause it'll save him money in the long run.
danny-baby
yeah im a old fab welder, i did the same on my last v its only basically welding the flange on or a small bend depending on what downpipe you have, but even at a garage it will be no more then about 20-50 pounds
Banbury Glanza
Ahh ok didn't see that lol.
Liam_D
Mines a genuine Buddyclub spec 2 backbox just with RWDevelopments middle pipe as my original middle pipe got hit by a rock on the motorway and was bent and wouldn't fit right.
