lee0100
Hi peeps I think my tyres are rubbing inside the arches, only happens when your near to turning on full lock, anything I can do to stop the rubbing? wheels are 15" 8j et0 Thanks
dan106
If its rubbing on the inside a small spacer would stop it, although with et0 are you sure its scrubbing the inside?
lee0100
Must be the inside as it's not lowered, do you know where i can buy wheel spacers? Edited February 10, 2014 by lee0100
morgey
Mine does it on stock wheels. A few others do it as well. I've just learnt to not go full lock lol
lee0100
Think I'll get some wheel spacers then if that doesn't help I'll roll the arches
lew777
Must be the inside as it's not lowered, do you know where i can buy wheel spacers? It might be hitting the outside on bumps. You on springs? Get some live sports wings on the front , you could get some over fenders on the rear.
5T4R7ET N/A
You got 8j alloys, there too wide and will rub in the inside of the wheel arch ( chassis side)
russ78
scrap that comment didn't read properly Edited February 11, 2014 by russ78
TimD
The last thing you want to do with those wheels is space them out even more..
AlancEP82
was thinking these would rub like a bitch
lee0100
Yeah only on springs, I've ordered some wheel spacers to see if that helps, they don't stick out to far tbh so hopefully won't look to stupid
Amjad
Spacers will only make that worse :SYou need to roll your arches
dan106
I run 8.5j front wheels and the only thing they scrub is the arch liner ( because of the ride height) Unless the ep82 arches are different i cant see how itd hit the inside? Edit: Actually, i run 195/45's, i suppose it depends on the tyre size really Edited February 11, 2014 by dan106
MARC MOSS
15x8 et 0 ... Would they rub?In all seriousness when u run a wheel that's offset is -35 from standard u really must expect it lol Edited February 12, 2014 by MARC MOSS
