kevmcc90 Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 Do you need to remove stuff to get to the bottom bolts in the manifold? Had a try but seems a struggle? Quote
JLF88 Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 Take throttle body off but unhook the throttle cable first, loosen from manifold, un do fuel rail, has a pipe on the left and two bolts, make sure you don't drop the injector seals that go between the injector and engine. Push them both to the side, try and get a ratchet between the pipes of the manifold, bit awkward. There's also a bracket it's connected to on the underside right, the bolt is facing upwards, this is probs the hardest to remove, un do all pipes first as well. Then it should just push off Quote

Matt1878 Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 I got mine off pretty easy.. I did have the front bumper and maybe even the stock radiator off at the time though as I might have been removing the air con.. Spanner set was used Quote
kevmcc90 Posted March 9, 2014 Author Posted March 9, 2014 Well done to you mate, I've still to get mine off some of the bolts just seemed impossible to get to Quote

I was on a ramp where you can get to the top ones and then in the air to get under to the bottom ones? Quote
Dean_mc88 Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 be careful you need to take your turbo oil line off and hoses to the water lines , I broke my oil feed and nearly fucked up my engine when coming to start it Quote
kevmcc90 Posted March 9, 2014 Author Posted March 9, 2014 I just had it jacked up on axle stands so was rather awkward Quote
