Beastmode panda Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 Pros - RaceKor. Cons - Nothing that needs mentioning. Quote
Jim* Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 very loud - could get annoyingBUT will sound sick on boost could have problems with the popo although generally people don't.BUT people will think your cool as fuck Could be expensive if you get it custom madeBUT will save weight Quote
Skimmy237 Posted March 16, 2014 Author Posted March 16, 2014 too loud!! Typical you Ryan haha I like the racekor one!Anyone ever been done for having one ? Quote
Jamie5414 Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 Pros:Less back pressure, better for turboLooks OK (Not a fan of them myself, a nice backbox looks better to me)Less weight Cons:Loud£30 fine and told to sort it if caught by police. Hasn't this been covered about 100 times Quote
Matt1878 Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 Less weightLess back pressureEpic sounds on boost if combined with screamer Look shit though imo Quote
TurboTobz Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 Looks shitSounds shitRuins bumperPros Fairly cheap because nothing much needed to make itprobably gives some small gains Quote
TurboTobz Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 Shouting out for police attentionScreams out I've got no catAnd becoming very commonImoCant beat a true jdm exhaust Quote
Skimmy237 Posted March 16, 2014 Author Posted March 16, 2014 I really want one .... But would I not get carbon deposits down the side of the car? And are they extremely loud or is everyone over exaggerating ? Quote
richardc9052 Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 imagine a full straight through exhaust with nothing but a small straight through silencer. Then imagine it has less than a 1/5th of the length so the piping doesn't absorb any sound via vibration. Quote
Skimmy237 Posted March 16, 2014 Author Posted March 16, 2014 Sounds like a plan to me ! What's this about it having to go under the engine though ? What if I get an oil leak and it drops on the hot exhaust .... That's an issue Quote
BIGGFOOT Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 (edited) no its not too bad! mine it nicely purrs on idle, sounds ok at low-mid revs then when hits boost awesome!! Edited March 16, 2014 by robzlo bigfoot Quote
Skimmy237 Posted March 16, 2014 Author Posted March 16, 2014 Hahs yes !! I want one I need pictures etc please? Quote
richardc9052 Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 (edited) The original exhaust goes under the engine anyway Edited March 17, 2014 by richardc9052 Quote
