Side exit or not ? Pros and cons

Just looking for the pros and cons of a side exit really ?

Pros - RaceKor.

Cons - Nothing that needs mentioning.

BUT will sound sick on boost

could have problems with the popo although generally people don't.

BUT people will think your cool as fuck

Could be expensive if you get it custom made

BUT will save weight

Pros:

Less back pressure, better for turbo

Looks OK (Not a fan of them myself, a nice backbox looks better to me)

Less weight

Cons:

Loud

£30 fine and told to sort it if caught by police.

Hasn't this been covered about 100 times

imagine a full straight through exhaust with nothing but a small straight through silencer. Then imagine it has less than a 1/5th of the length so the piping doesn't absorb any sound via vibration.

Sounds like a plan to me ! What's this about it having to go under the engine though ? What if I get an oil leak and it drops on the hot exhaust .... That's an issue

no its not too bad! mine it nicely purrs on idle, sounds ok at low-mid revs then when hits boost awesome!!

Get a proper JDM exhaust if there so amazing the ninja's in Japan would all have them unless you prefer cheap n cheerful haha

there great kid but get a box a scinny 1 with a insert in it and make sure it wont hit the intercooler pipes on the corner

otherwise u need to go tru the front and squeez the pipes between the headlight and intercooler !!!!!!
