akaye4000 Posted March 30, 2014 Posted March 30, 2014 my exedy paddle clutch gave out after 1000 miles at 300hp but think it was the torque from the 5e that did it Quote
Tmdep82mos Posted March 30, 2014 Author Posted March 30, 2014 Mines bored to a 1.5 aswell mate what tourqe should I keep it under then Quote
turboloon Posted March 30, 2014 Posted March 30, 2014 i'd have a andy forrest turbo over either a t.d. unit or racetech stuff..andy forrest is a top tuner in the scobby world and runs a very quick imprezza (blew simon norris's evo into the weeds on the power run at t.o.t.b.!!!) Quote
richardc9052 Posted March 30, 2014 Posted March 30, 2014 Mines bored to a 1.5 aswell mate what tourqe should I keep it under thenYou mean your running a 5e... Quote
Tmdep82mos Posted March 30, 2014 Author Posted March 30, 2014 I have no idea. I'm not to clued up about it as all I no is it's awesome lol Quote
akyakapotter Posted March 30, 2014 Posted March 30, 2014 Look on the block right hand side where the head meets it will say 4e or 5e I'm 98% yours is a 5e Quote
Liam_D Posted March 30, 2014 Posted March 30, 2014 Still looks a standard Td04 to me but yeah if it's a AFP one it'll be incredible. Quote
_shaun_ Posted March 30, 2014 Posted March 30, 2014 If it was a case of sticking with td04 and doing for a tuners version I'd give andy my money first hands down. Just look at results for TOTB for last few years. He's in a different league to race-tech and TD Quote
EP-Azz Posted March 30, 2014 Posted March 30, 2014 Compressor wheel also looks defferent to my billet wheel td04, Andy forest has been in it for years but so has td and race tech ....I'm sure they were made by Owen developments? Quote

akyakapotter Posted March 30, 2014 Posted March 30, 2014 £450 on exchange that's cheaper than td and race tec isn't it ?? Quote
garrygt Posted March 30, 2014 Posted March 30, 2014 whats the spool times with that on a 4e? id want it mapped at 1.6bar on my gt...wonder what power it would make compared to racetech and tds versions. As that turbo has been built with a subaru in mind it surely wont spool as fast as the billet wheel td04s Quote
Banbury Glanza Posted March 30, 2014 Posted March 30, 2014 Are these available to buy from somewhere ?? Quote
maddox710 Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 Personally I have my doubts if it is, if you look at Andy forrest and blouch turbos, you can clearly see they use billet wheels with different amount of blades from the stock Item Quote
Tmdep82mos Posted March 31, 2014 Author Posted March 31, 2014 I don't think they use billet wheels just larger wheel & uprated barings mate Quote
