Nick_p
Right its about time i started a topic about my Starlet so here goes. In August 2006 i traveled to bradford from Andover to have a look at and buy my first Toyota starlet GT Turbo, was a very long day but well worth the trip to get the car. This what it looked like when i got itAt first the only mods it had, was a Hks induction kit, stainless steel rear silence, Blitz Blow of Valve, apexi turbo timer and Pivot boost gauge. After driving round on the awefull standard sus, which also had a leaking damper which wasnt helping at all, i ordered and fitted a set of Tein Superstreet coilover.Aint got any pics for now, but was a massive improvement over the stock handeling.Couple of days later my exhasut decided to give upSo i ordered a Hks silent hi-power exhaust. which i think sounds very nice, not the loudest exhaust in the world but i dont care to much for loud exhausts so was an idel purchase for me. This is how the car stayed for about 10 months, heres a couple of pics after it had been washed, polished and the door stickers removedThen i caught the Tuning bug and have decided to go all out with the car First i decided to strip the rear interior and fit some Sablet harnesses i had lying aboutAfter that i recieved my De-cat thanks to SiCaln and KillamatsPic of it fittedThen came some Yellow Samco cooling hoses and temp gauge thanks to Nightspiritpics of em fittedI then fitted a walbro fuel pump and RRFPR, but after a change in plans i removed th RRFPR, because this came in the postA Hks PFC-FCON with GCC, ep82 harness, FCD, and pressure sensor.Shorthly after fitting that i fitted a Hks actuatorDrove the car like this now for about 3 months, as i was waiting for my FMIC to arrive. After a long wait because of a fuck up at customs i finally got my Blitz FMICAfter that was fitted i removed my A/C and relocated my air filter straight off the turbo and fitted a AEM wideband kit.Was Going to Go down the hybrid route, but have recently purchased a TD04L Kit from SpeedVision over on TGTT, which will hopefully be here by christmas. At the moment i have also got on order, a whiteline Panhard rod, rear anti roll bar and just tonight bought a GReddy oil cooler kit from Killamats.Couple things came in the post today.1. 15" Rota Grids in Bronze2. Sard Low temp Thermostat.so after christmas, wheels, suspension bits and turbo kit will be on the car, then will take it to be mapped.hopefully will make a nice power gain Then its time to get saving again for a forged engine, big brakes, roll cage and more suspension bits. Will keep this updated with my progress on the car,Lets us know what you thinks, all comments welcome... good and bad Just wanna say big thanks to Dave Burwash - for all the partsSicaln and killamats for the parts Toby for all the questions and partsGlanza Ragger for putting up with all the endles questions he answeared for me. Cheers mate
