Cherry
On the adverts they claim a possible 300BHP
Ollieh17
No chance of 300 lol. They are having you on
Dean_mc88
Yea I don't expect to see 300 at all il probably be lucky to see 250 to be fair but that's what im going to see if I can push
Ollieh17
220 max id say. Going by other peoples figures
mikey4410
I have a speed vison hybrid ct9 atm.still in the process of setting up fully in conjunction with a external wastegate etc etc.I would expect they would make around 230 at 1.2 bar on a good day.
Gainzy
I have a speed vison hybrid ct9 atm.still in the process of setting up fully in conjunction with a external wastegate etc etc.I would expect they would make around 230 at 1.2 bar on a good day.I agree 230 on that boost in my opinion they work better 1.1 very max because of the heat 0.9 boost spring pushing 1.1 through a decent ebc for quicker spooling
mikey4410
Yeah I aint gonna run more than 1.1 bar.worried bout heat ect tbhaslong as its like a td04 at 0.8 bar then I am happy
Dean_mc88
On the leaderboard the most powerful ct9 hybrid is 254.5bhp at 17psi no build thread though and don't know what hybrid it is
starletgt-shady
I made 234bhp 1.4 bar boost.
Gainzy
On the leaderboard the most powerful ct9 hybrid is 254.5bhp at 17psi no build thread though and don't know what hybrid it isMust be forged, for one run I suppose you could put the boost up bit constantly running that would probably be risky for the turbo all the time especially winter time. Dean_mc88
yea it was forged, ill be aiming for the same figure and mines a second car so wont be coming out in shite weather
Gainzy
yea it was forged, ill be aiming for the same figure and mines a second car so wont be coming out in shite weatherMight aswell go td04 if your forged 280 bhp ebc lighter flywheel and a top notch clutch
Dean_mc88
I have paddle clutch and possibly a lighter fly not checked, everyone goes td04 because its easy no fun in that
Ollieh17
Tbf neither are really easier. Td04 just provide that guaranteed power. And are cheaper to replace and buy in the first place. Not many people make over 220 on a hybrid
Dean_mc88
yea but a lot of people make over 220 on a td04, its easier to make that power. Im just going to push the ct9 as far as possible and see if I can break the
Gainzy
Good luck hope you make it

Gainzy
I'm challeging the blitz ct9 on stock engine 1bar over 212 would be nice lol fingers crossed
Dean_mc88
nice hope you get there man
H_D
ct9s and ct9 hybrids get to hot and have to be pushed to the limit to get good power out of them and not good for your engine, You will better off with something a bit bigger making more power at lower boost. The less boost that goes through the engine the less it gets stressed.personally I would look at the new billet td04s which are making near enough 300bhp at 1bar - baby boost but big power
Gainzy
I would say 260 is more than enough for the weight of these cars I wouldn't like to be pushing more than that around a corner fwd but if I was forging mine I would go td04 route you will get the most out of your engine/cash that way but then again less lag is the key for me.
