Dan507
Any news?
shorty
well, had the head off and tested all is ok im told so the rest of the engine is now out too and going to be stripped bare, and sent for testing. the engineer said he thinks it may be slight head lift due to the 1.2mm hg and oem head bolts hope so as if the block is ok ill have it back soon if not then will take a while due to new block, bore out, new bearnings etc etc.on a plus ordered an oil cooler and filter relocation kit and full polybush kit to go with my polybushed lower arms if its off the road then im going all out before i bring it back aiming for 300+ and the handaling of a track bitch!!bad times weight loss taken to the extreme lol

shorty
Lol, bit to pricey to squeeze into the budget engine is now stripped bare so off to the engineers to be pressure tested and if all is ok with it then it will be skimmed and chemicaly cleaned then will begin the rebuild if the block is fine then it was more than likly head lift, due to oem head studs and a cruise 1.2mm head gasket with only 75mm bore not 75.5 and oem head bolts not arp wich means i stripped it all for nothing but better to be safe than sorry lol
shorty
well just waiting to hear back on the condition of the block, fingers crossed. yesterdays efforts on the blockand my super sexy knife edged, lightened balenced cranksorry bout the cack pics only had the phone on me

shorty
was done by special engine advantages and was in the forged lump when i bought it off an old tgtt member its ni-tempered for the added strains of nos too so at a guess £200-300 easily id of thought, the engine cost him over 5k to have built by them around 3years ago. and your right its total porn lol my mate spent most of sunday stroking the crank haahaa
shorty
Right should have the block back Monday, then will drop the head off for skim and shimming for the cruise cams also now have a bedroom full of bits for the rebuild, is gonna be a hectic week but adament its gonna be done for fest2 as its my first uksc meet ;)
