hopefully the replacement is all good mate..

if the forged lump was knocking hopefully you can save most of it and get away with a crank grind and new shells.

Wasn't knocking bud. The pistons are fooked from DET and I don't know the extent of the damage to the block or head yet!

Didn't really do too much yesterday, managed to get the engine on the stand and started stripping a few bits off it! Stopped when i didn't have the correct hex bit to remove the ARP Headbolts! So I've ordered one and I'll get the head off in the week and show you guys the damage Rob caused to the pistons!!

Crank looks good to me, obv will go for a polish/re-grind!

Pistons are 74mm which is good news! So hopefully the bloke can be re-bored and I can get some oversized pistons in there!

Will remove the head in the week and get the pistons out!
