nomzey10
i really like the Renault 5 gt turbo and i want to own 1n in the future but they always come up with engine and electrical problems. is there any chance of putting a ep91 turbo in them? or its not possible? let me know guys http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1990-Renault-5-GT-Turbo-project-spares-or-repair-/121495502438?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item1c49b23e66 Edited November 25, 2014 by nomzey10
Bussey
Anythings possible, it all depends on how mechanically minded you are / how deep your wallet is
Djaniero
What Bussey said ^^^^^^ They were all the craze back in the day....but when peeps started to make the transition into the jap scene, they kinda fell off the radar. Love the look and shape of them though. Hope you manage to pull this one off as a project
Ollieh17
sure it is possible but the cool factor of the car is the whole package, engine and looks etc. I think if you wanna swap the engine out a characterful car like a 5 theres not alot of point having the car imo! Same with a glanza the defining factor is the 1.3 turbo engine and swapping that out, to me just takes alot away from the car

morgey
Theres a few about my way. One bog standard original parked up with chocks near a mates and the local sports physio just bought a rude boi one to treat as a project car.
Bussey
Like a few people have said, most of them are proper ghetto whips, which really puts me off them. But the raiders, oh my!
nomzey10
raiders are nice but the Renault 5 turbo is a mid engine rear wheel drive beast. very rare to get hold of.not Renault 5 GT turbo Edited November 26, 2014 by nomzey10
