GlanzaCanada
Just purchased a 1997 GlanzaV 5speed last month for a fairly good deal, plan to track the car and have some fun with it. As I have a daily already this will be a nice car just to tinker with and have a good time in. There doesn't seem to be any mods other then a turbo timer, front strut bar, and rear tower bar. From what I have found is the interior isn't from this generation of starlet, and the wheels are certainly not stock wheels. Possibly the vehicle was modded a bit before and then returned stock before sale. So far only purchase I have made is a set of new wheels 15x8 with new 195/50/15 tires. Bluebear
Welcome to the site man! Starting to get a few Starlets in Canada now.Post up some pics of the interior and we can probably tell you what you're working with. Is it just a re-trim or a completely different interior altogether?
Socks
Cool to see these things in Canada! How much did it cost you over there if you don't mind me asking? I take it there is no local owners club for starlets? Its all good tho, your welcome here
Dale SR
welcome along. as above get some pics up of the interior. it looks strange from wht i can see as there useally a dark blue. :-)
GlanzaCanada
I got it for a really good deal considering how much shipping is to Canada....I do expect it may need some maintenance, but hopefully nothing major. As for interior pictures, I did have some from before when it was in Japan, but now I can't source them anymore....so I will have to wait until the car arrives in Canada. Thanks for the warm welcomes!

Bluebear
BC is such a lovely area. Been over twice now as my parents have friends out in Misson, visited Vancouver, Whistler and loads of places in between. So nice.
UrbKlr
What's the trackday culture like out in Canada? From the east coast here(Nova Scotia). We have a fantastic track here that has lots of lapping days and time attacks. Autox is much more popular though.

FMuscle
Did they change the law again or is it different by province? I was in quebec, and with the fast&furious import frenzy they shut the door to imports under 25 or 30 years old from the 15 it was before...
UrbKlr
Quebec is the only province that is like that. Ontario is tricky to get insurance for, PEI too I think(but do able).
GlanzaCanada
Whistler nice! I will be in touch once the car lands and is in the garage then
FMuscle
Quebec is the only province that is like that. Ontario is tricky to get insurance for, PEI too I think(but do able). That is good to know if I ever have to go back. I'd need to bypass the system again. Not that I want to, I don't want to go back to that shithole again except to bring back my Camaro over here...
