paddy
Can't undo my bottom pulley with either a bar or nut gun, any suggestions?
mikey4410
they "weld" themselves massively tight.they require I very high quality impact gun like a snap on one to have any chance of remove that nut.first time mine was ever undone took 5-6 twenty sec blasts.it will undo mate but not with non power tools, u will be there all day and night. paddy
We used a snap on battery nut gun, we used up the whole battery and still didn't budge . My neighbour has a compresser with a high powered gun will try again tomorrow
yaristurbo
The new mac ones are animals, good old air gun should do it
LukeColby
Done my cambelt last week and had the same problem, spray some dw40 around the bolt and let it sink in then use a copper hammer or punch to hit the bolt to loosen some of the rust off. Then as said use some quality tools to undo
morgey
I had a 5 foot scaffold pole over a breaker bar to undo mine back when i did my cambelt the 1st time that shit was crazy tight!
russ78
Do not use any kind of heat as it will melt the rubber inside the pulley just a heads up
paddy
Ended up using a compresser with a proper but gun. Did the crank seal and re sealed the sump but still leaking, think oil pump seal has gone
patman
If oil pump seals gone surely you'd have low oil pressure?
rwdrev
try flicking the starter aswell with a big bar on. as for leaky sumps, there a b*stard to seal. too much and it will drop into the sump and block the strainer, and not enough and they dont seal. make sure both faces are ocd clean and free of oil, or the sealant wont connect with the faces and seal. try the sump again

rwdrev
its a hard 1 to gauge, but there really bad for not sealing in the curvey bits of the sump at both ends.
Phil
Sumps = nightmareTop quality sealant. Plenty on the end humps and wipe brown surfaces with thinners beforehand and allow to dry before putting your top notch sealer near the sumpPhil
