MPG drop..any one else?

more likley of the cold but any one else noticed POOR mpg

normally get an exact 39mpg on thrash days etc even 45mpg on granny times

now seeing 23/28max....

My MPG has dropped a bit too, i took it to be the cold. Seems to pull harder in the cold so i tend to put my foot down more haha

So many cars come into work in winter with poor MPG, mostly put down to things like heated seats being on, screen defrosters, sitting warming the car up, taking longer for the engine to get up to temp, even things like drop in tyre pressure because of the cold affect MPG.

Mine always drops in the winter see what its like when the weather warms up or get it on a diagnostics thing, your car would flag up any issues.

yeah what dan says makes sense.

also with cold denser air it may well alter afrs and make car fuel more to go with the effectively "more air".

mines been worse also if I am honest.

but im still in love ........haha

I measure it in smiles per gallon, and all I know is it feels bloody awesome in winter

yeah, i usually spend £20 on fuel, and ive spent £35 this week

I get about 80 miles to 20 quid in my daily WRX lol. Right foot weighs a ton

Td04 Glanza in warm does 110kms per £10

But in cold in getting 85kms per £10 and fuels gone down in price :-(

my pig is starting to use more to now about 50km les to a tank get 470km now !!!!
