This is wireless as well, makes 179 wired lol

The ICMP is sent from your router. All data is sent from the router and back again. Regardless of transmission medium, the 'Speed Test' is simply a measure of the line, not the method once it's inside your network. Depending on whether or not the network is busy or not, will give you a wide variety of readings. 20mb is someones internet connection, so to have that as a loss on a bad day...wow that's impressive!

That's ridiculous speeds to be fair!

Pretty standard speed if you have virgin 100mb(well for me anyway) the boosted everyone up a while back for three. Past a certain point you dont even notice it being faster though!

You won't notice it for web page browsing now. But for downloads you will notice it up to your choke point, I.e. most generic wireless routers are good up to 100Mbs. So after that they physically cannot transmit any more information than what's being received. lol.



But fair play. I think I'm 50Mb and that's Virgins 'Large' package lol
