Nick666Akers
Keeping petrol receipts won't sell a car it will just depress the owner one day hahaHahaha, I have no intentions of selling anytime soon, or within the next 5-10 years for that matter. Personally I think it makes it look more genuine than "oh my mate Keith can vouch 4 V-Power m9" 😂
Flynn
Nothing to prove the fuel went in that specific car either?
Nick666Akers
Nothing to prove the fuel went in that specific car either?True, but if someone went to the extent of keeping that specific fuels receipt, along with tonnes more receipts & invoices, would you trust the car & person? Gainzy
True, but if someone went to the extent of keeping that specific fuels receipt, along with tonnes more receipts & invoices, would you trust the car & person?Sheffield's not going to help these receipts in any way shape or form lol only kidding yeah it's a fair point but since you aint gunna sell up start buying more parts

Nick666Akers
Good Evening Guys, Hope all is well!Managed to get the daily back on the road so I could finally pull the Glanza off the road for winter!Managed to make a start on stripping off parts in which I'm going to replace/change over winter, along with new parts I'm going to fit too, really excited to get this project rolling over winter!Managed to get the car into the garage, only to find out my dads ordered a load of stuff for the loft conversion, so the cars probably going to spend this winter outside Least she spent one night in the garage tho!Firstly, I got around to spraying the rear chassis black as before it was a murky white & the contrast looked rubbish with the JAM Bumper, so managed to spray it.And stripped out various other parts, all will be revealed soon! That is all for tonight, I'll be doing regular updates as parts start to come in, but first I need to get my hands on some Gramlights 57c's! Nick666Akers
Good Evening Ladies & Gentlemen, For we are tonight's entertainment,I only have one question, WHERE IS HARVEY DENT?10+ Scene points if you can tell me what film that came from, and a further 5 scene kid points if you tell me what year....Anyway, now that's out my system, fucking Jesus it's being quiet here hasn't it? Where did I leave off at? Oh yes November, Too long.Anyway let's make a start,Finally got Christmas & al the new year bollocks so I could finally focus on car parts!Make a few purchases over winter, I'll try & do them in order!Firstly, everyone knows how desperately I needed some new wheels, so after a lot of research, and contemplation, I settled on these beauties!Brand New Japan Racing JR3's in Gold????Im in love with them holy fucking shit they're amazing. Also, everyone knows how hammered my manifold was, so I managed to prize this beauty off Char, cheers m9!RW-Developments CT9 Ramhorn Manifold!Livesports spoiler is all sprayed up & ready to be fitted, Hopefully gonna give it a go tomorrow! Also, I'm sure some of you are aware of that OEM Ducktail that went up for next to nothing, Yup, I bought it! I now have another trolley handle to fit to the toyWorking in the steel works has its perks I tell ya, some of the older guys will remember the worlds strongest man; Mr. Reeves? Yeah he managed to put me a small weld on my centre section of my Blitz Nurspec R system as my dad accidentally slipped & put the slitter through the flange hahaha! Managed to polish up the back box pretty well whilst it was off!So, today! My best mate is a pretty god damn good welder, so he came over today to tackle my leaky floor problem! When I first got the car, what I thought was a jacking point, turned out to be a rubber bung in the floor, I managed to push up the bung & make the floor really uneven! So he came up & welded me some plates in, I hadn't touched the car since December until today, so it was a motivational glance as to what this year holds! We also have an idea in the pipeline, which we are looking into, but all is to be kept hush at the moment, but I garuntee it'll be something that will interest everyone on the forum! Here's a quick snippet of the starlet, my bud's Miata, and the boring VDub Daily...I also decided to jet wash the carpet today whilst it's out, our carpet cleaner didn't do anything when I last tried, and it's too big to go in the washing machine, so jet wash it was! You wouldn't believe the colour of the water that was coming out, it was discusting!Another neat little item arrived in the post the other day, I've managed to get around to buying some new indiglo's as the previous ones didn't have a control unit so they was useless at night, but here's my new set of custom MoMan Indiglo's, Carbon Effect with the cars name on in the centre of the speedo! Well happy, such a nice little personal touch! Also managed to get a Prosport LCD Oil Temp Gauge for Christmas & some carbon effect gauge pods, not going to be installing them just yet tho! Also got myself a Sparco QR Boss too, Which will come in handy for upcoming mods! That is all for tonight, I'm sure I'll be fitting something else tomorrow like, but I'll keep you posted on the progress, Now the first Japfest date is released, I have a target as to when I want/need to have the car ready!Let me know what you guys think! Nick666Akers
Really need to catch up on this so while I've got a moment today at work & on my dinner break, expect many spam posts as i try & catch up on progress!Firstly, I settled on some new tyres, I decided to try out the Maxxis Maz3's, they were amazing tyres on my bud's mx5, and on his fiesta, so I've decided to give them a try, see how they handle at 200bhp, a review will follow! Many parts have being bought since, and I'm currently in the process of trying to fit it on weekends and after work seen as we have a bit of day light back now! Nick666Akers
So, let's carry on shall we!!Started putting her back together! And yes you guessed it, finally got the livesports wing on, also offered up the ducktail!Decided that pale blue isn't the cars colour, so back to black it was! Also decided to start changing the manifold, got the bugger off (and it was fucked) Something caught my eye whilst looking down the turbo...Bit of metal gasket say just above the turbine! Close call I'd say!

Nick666Akers
Well...Hasn't it been a while jeez!Last time i posted was the day before my birthday hahahaha. Oh well, Midnight 136 is back!i say back, more like in the back garden. Yeah she's dead again...So whats occurred since March? Well.I sold the polo to my sister, bought a Mark One MIATAAA, modified it to hell and got bored of it.(Glanza was running at this moment in time) Yes it got scribbled on at JAE! Seemed like a brilliant idea after a large amount of beer to draw on it in permanent marker hahaha.Heres a drunk go pro shot of JAE hahaha!Best way i could describe the MX-5 is someone offering you your least favorite food.. You'll eat it, but you're not satisfied! So that went, F*ing boring car!And it got replaced with a 1992 MR-2. Had to keep true to Toyota didn't i!So the Glanza, Yeahhh Midnight-136 became a little under the weather. Compression tester her, and on cylinder 2 she had 90 psi.. :/ So i decided to pull her off the road AGAIN for the rest of the season to stop any possible further damage.Heres one of my blog posts as i ripped the head off the poor bugger...>https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y1aIJFCRrwAthats as far as ive currently got with finding the issue, im going to pull out cylinder 2 piston see if theres any issues there! Nick666Akers
Been testing the head for any leaks within the valves. Used petrol on them to test with. So far no leaks. Head doesn't seem warped. I'm getting really confused why there's 90psi on cylinder 2...
