jayc-glanza17 Posted October 5, 2015 Author Share Posted October 5, 2015 So this weekend had russels wedding..But still managed to do a few bits on car even though i was bladderd..lol.So the lower arms got attacked this weekend.Managed to remove the old bushes with the propane heat gun we got down unit..Then set about cleaning and painting them to prevent further rust. jayc-glanza17 Posted October 25, 2015 Author Share Posted October 25, 2015 Made a little more progress this weekend.Painted front anti roll bar and fitted that with drop links.Then painted the fuel tank and fitted that as well.next task is to clean the rust off the rear beam and hubs before there painted.Another small step. jayc-glanza17 Posted November 5, 2015 Author Share Posted November 5, 2015 So had a little bit of time lately..Ive sent rear beam off for shot blasting.Ive fitted new cv joints, but need take back the inner boots as got na ones not turbo ones.But hubs and steering knuckle have been shot blasted clean.so today ive coated them in primer.Sprayed the expansion tank bracket.So next plan is once rear beam has been blasted, too paint it.Paint hubs and build them up ie fit wheel bearings.And fit right cv boots and fit them.after that attention is on the fibreglass cruise parts.
