silverep82gt
By who?I have seen them being used in a few folks builds. They are maxspeeding rods. Plenty of people have asked about them on here already if youd care to look. Im not going to go through and find exact names!
Nicholai
must be good then if people are willing to use them. Sometimes makes me think if you find something half the price then the regular used ones are they any good.

StuDoc 72
Aren't they the Max Speeding ones? Heard plenty folk on here that's chosen to use them and not had any issues exactly what I'll be using when I go forged.

karl.
I have got a set for my 5e build. There is also a lot of lads from across the water using them, as far as i can tell someone was running 400bhp on a 5e with them. (Obviously using the 5e variant before some smart ass comes along) Phil. has used a few sets without fail as well.

aleximport25
That's mighty cheap ! Has anyone used the above set ?
RobSR
Quite a few people have used those maxspeed ones from what i can see, they are in essence a copy of a SCAT but with skinny bolts like pauters. Id run SCAT's, thickest bolts, safest for big revs. You just need to notch your block. Edited December 19, 2015 by RobSR

aleximport25
Can't beat steak but I'm quite fond of the Mexican chilli.I guess it's all down to budget and what you wanting from it I guess a low end forged build would be fine
TurboTobz
Exactly, presumably you're not going to be scrimping. A forged builds a roughly a couple of grand, so you're going to scrimp on one thing. No sense to me.
aleximport25
Like buying cheap gaskets 😂
Ollieh17
No one has a reason not to use them other than they cost less so must be shit? Not considered the other companies charge far too much? Or that the big brands use the same rods and just have their name etched on then charge alot more because ' they must be good they are expensive'They seen common across alot of cars with good reviews haven't yet read anything bad
karl.
They seen common across alot of cars with good reviews haven't yet read anything badI have seen posts on forums that people who have submitted bad reviews (maybe on a turbo etc) have been contacted by max speeding etc to remove the post.
