So, two days ago I got my first car, a little EP91 with 219000 kms

I'm a student so, as you might know, we don't have loads of money and one day I was browsing and I found one for 400 (trailer trip included to my house) but, it's price brought something... It was hit on the driver's side so I had to replace the wing and the door, finding a door and a wing for a starlet in France was hard but I eventually got it...

Will take some, and guys, one of my vents is broken and I can't replace it because I broke the mount, can I put a gauge in it?

I believe a 2 inch gauge fits tightly in there from memory. I think 3 gauges could fit in the center vents, but you'd have to measure it to be sure, I had the idea and gave it up a year and a half ago, so my measurements are far away.

So the vent is 50mm wide, will need a 45mm gauge then, can't find a simple 45mm black face oil temp gauge (I don't have boost yet so no point in installing a boost gauge)

EDIT: Made a little blanking plate that I'll cover with some fabric

I need to decide what I'll insert on it, maybe cut a 45mm hole and put a gauge in it, I don't know... Is there any other solution for oil temp instead of a gauge?

More updates as soon as it arrives and when the weather is nice as it doesn't motivate me to go outside with this rain and cold...

Hey man, where did you get the instrument with rpm gauge?

I'm from Sweden, has one Starlet Ep91 to, and here you cant find any spare parts at all. Have looking for that instrument you got, but dont know what to search for, or where?

Keep up the good work! :)

It was from a 98 starlet that I found with a lot of luck at the wreckers, decided to get it as I knew I wouldn't find one anywhere else, try eBay but it can be expensive...

That was a good buy.

Ebay has only the one from Paseo.. And cost about 130£. But thanks :)

So, started to prepare my interior and did a little testing :) So happy with it!

Bought 5 meters of this denim fabric for 4€

Cut the fabric to size, and after some neoprene glue and an iron:

BOOM!
