Blowtorch/Oxy Cet.



If you can add heat to the nut and get it to expand it will loosen it off.



Also get 6 sided sockets or RING spanners on there if you can! More sides on the tool, less contact patch you have!

Best bet is a single hex socket and a 3/8" bar if you can get in.

You can also get sockets which bite into nuts and bolts even when theyre a bit rounded. And Irwin sockets for totally rounded nuts and bolts.

Why not take off the manifold and turbo together, makes it much easier to get to those back bolts?



I found taking the powersteering pump off helps to get at all the manifold bolts

It is possible to get the lower two nuts off the manifold. It's just a little fiddly to get the socket and extension in. It's much easier with the manifold off.
